Desert punk icons MONDO GENERATOR unleash new track "Rubber Room"; new album "We Stand Against You" out October 13th on Heavy Psych Sounds.

US stoner punk icons MONDO GENERATOR (fronted by former Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri) unleash their third single "Rubber Room", taken from their new album "We Stand Against You" to be released this October 13th on Heavy Psych Sounds.

About the song, frontman and bassist Nick Oliveri says: "Rubber room is about losing one’s mind and being condemned to a rubber room. A simple complex jam with all and everything a song needs: Mike Pygmie's riffs and Mike Amster's crushing beats! These two Mondo G’s make it easy for me to belt out what it is I’m trying to say! Let’s lose our minds in the rubber room."

Go full throttle with Mondo Generator's new single "Rubber Room"

Three years after the triumph of their comeback album "Fuck It", the unstoppable trio formed by Nick Oliveri, Mike Pygmie and Mike Amster returns louder than ever with their fiery seventh album "We Stand Against You". Described by the band as their "heaviest and most brutal album to date", this sonic A-bomb is a fuck-them-all statement, nine punk-charged missiles propelled by sharp riffing and fire-driven drumming that will induce severe whiplashes and a wide grin on each listener's face. Crank the volume up and raise your fists against authority and all forms of oppression as Mondo Generator deliver their most cathartic record yet!

We Stand Against You is nine songs of fire, fury and angst! Some of them reflect my personal thoughts, some are about family and close friends dying or committing suicide, and some are about my experience with the Corona lockdowns. This is a record of real emotion and not for the weak," comments Nick Oliveri. ► Check out their latest singles "Death March" and "One Two Three Four"!

MONDO GENERATOR was formed in 1997 by Nick Oliveri, also known for founding the legendary stoner rock band Kyuss and playing in Queens of the Stone Age. Initially intended as a solo/side project, the classic "Cocaine Rodeo" album was recorded that same year, but shelved until Southern Lord Records released its unique brand of criminal insanity to widespread acclaim and horror in the summer of 2000. Following several full-lengths, EPs and a live DVD, a solo acoustic career and heavy touring schedules with Kyuss Lives!, Vista Chino and Mondo Generator, Nick Oliveri signed to European label Heavy Psych Sounds in 2017 for the release of a series of Oliveri vocal-fronted recordings titled "N.O. Hits At All" as well as the "The Best Of Nick Oliveri's Mondo Generator".

Since its inception, MONDO GENERATOR has welcomed contributions from notable members of the Californian rock scene over the years such as Josh Homme, Dave Catching, Brant Bjork, Dave Grohl or Joey Castillo. The lineup officially stabilized in 2018 around Nick Oliveri on bass and vocals, Mike Pygmie on guitars (who joined in 2012) and Mike Amster on drums, and has been relentlessly unleashing their rock'n'roll wrath on international stages since then.

MONDO GENERATOR is:
Nick Oliveri – Bass & Vocals
Mike Pygmie – Guitars
Mike Amster – Drums
