After 5 years of struggling and making some demo-tapes, in 1995 Discipline signed to Lost&Found Records from Germany. The 1st release was the 5-track “Stompin’ Crew EP” in the summer of 1995. This one was followed up by their 1st album “Guilty as Charged” in 1996. The reactions to this dynamite Streetcore-album were overwhelmingly positive and the guys did a lot of shows, including a european tour with The Business to promote this album all over Europe. Early 1998 the “Bulldog Style”-album was released, also by L&F Records. On this record Discipline already tried to combine the best of both worlds: Oi meets Hardcore. This album was a huge success again in the underground scene. Through hard work, the band gained itself a reputation of doing very energetic liveshows.

True Widow, the Dallas trio that “uses volume as an instrument” (NPR) and “find virtue in pairing grit with sluggishness” (Pitchfork), return with their fourth album, Avvolgere, on Sept. 23 via Relapse Records. Following a successful North American run DevilDriver will kick off their European tour July 28th in Tolmin, Slovenia and it will run through August 21st in Rodatychi, Uktraine. Una vez más experimentan introduciendo elementos no habituales en el resto de sus canciones, en esta ocasión las voces limpias son el elemento protagonista. Por otra parte hay muchos riffs pegadizos, punteos extraños, acordes imposibles de tocar y solos de guitarra que harán estallar tu cabeza. Es muy complicado crear álbum bueno de principio a fin, pero lo curioso de este es que según pasan los temas, mejora progresivamente.

Dream the Electric Sleep was formed in 2009 by Joey Waters, Matt Page, and Chris Tackett. Joey and I are from Lexington, Kentucky and Chris is from West Virginia, a neighboring state. Joey and I are cousins and started playing together at age 16, twenty years ago! We played in a couple of different projects before DTES. Chris joined the band about 8 years ago and that is when DTES was formed. We have always been motivated by pushing our song-craft, and trying to write music that moved us emotionally but also challenged our skills as musicians. On top of that it was always our goal to create full, rich albums. I know that is not the most popular thing these days as the music business has really focused on the single or individual tracks disembodied from the album, but I like context. I want the song before and after a track on an album to influence your relationship to it. That is a very 1970’s thing I think.

Artistically and aesthetically deeply rooted in the Seventies the Valeta brothers Armand Valeta (vocals and rhythm guitar) and LG Valeta (lead guitar) founded '77 (pronounced Seventy Seven) as a direct reflection of the concept of the era they love. Over the past years '77, who are hailing from Spain, didn't just make a name for themselves with their studio recordings, but particularly with their high energy live shows that secured them countless European tours with the likes of diverse bands such as Bullet, Audrey Horne, Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock, Danko Jones or their label mates Dead Lord.
