Another monstrous wave of announcements has arrived for Obscene Extreme Festival 2026, once again expanding the Battlefield with grindcore legends, brutal death metal innovators, obscene cult acts, violent powerviolence chaos and some of the filthiest underground names imaginable. Between November 8 and November 14, OEF continued building one of the most diverse and dangerous editions in the festival’s history — while also launching the official limited-edition printed tickets for 2026.
The latest descent into madness began on November 8 with Colombian ultra-brutal maniacs AMPUTATED GENITALS. Formed in Bogotá in 2003, the band has become one of the cult names of the infamous Colombian underground scene, deeply connected to the brutal legacy surrounding events such as Bogotá Grind Death Fest.
Throughout the years, countless musicians from the Colombian extreme scene have passed through the ranks of AMPUTATED GENITALS, turning the band into something of an underground institution within Latin American brutality. Despite members constantly participating in various side projects, the band itself remains fully alive, continuing to unleash savage blasts, terrifying riffs and pure sonic violence inspired by some of the world’s most brutal death metal and grindcore acts.
The organisers described the band as a perfect example of brutality designed not just to crush, but to entertain through complete extremity — exactly the type of chaos that belongs at the Battlefield.
One day later came one of the biggest grindcore announcements of the festival so far with the return of Finnish legends ROTTEN SOUND. Few bands are as closely associated with the identity of Obscene Extreme Festival as these grindcore masters. Since their first-ever show outside Finland at OEF back in 2000, the relationship between the band and the festival has become almost inseparable.
For more than three decades, ROTTEN SOUND have remained one of the absolute defining forces of grindcore, developing such a unique sound that the organisers themselves described it simply as “music that sounds like ROTTEN SOUND.” Nothing more needed.
For Obscene Extreme Festival 2026, the band is preparing a very special set focused heavily on material from their legendary albums “Murderworks” and “Exit”, making this one of the most anticipated grindcore performances of the entire festival. According to the organisers, this was simply an irresistible offer impossible to refuse.
Technical extremity arrived on November 10 through Italian innovators HIDEOUS DIVINITY. For nearly two decades, the band has continuously pushed against the boundaries of modern extreme metal, combining brutal technical death metal with progressive experimentation and overwhelming intensity.
The organisers praised the band’s exceptional production quality and their ability to completely overwhelm audiences both live and on record. Whether through chaotic live assaults or the crushing density of their studio material, HIDEOUS DIVINITY constantly operates at an elite level while refusing to follow genre rules or expectations.
On November 11, Obscene Extreme Festival also officially launched the limited printed design tickets for the 2026 edition. Fans were informed that pre-sales had already begun, with shipping scheduled to start on November 20, 2025.
The festival promoted the printed tickets not only as admission passes but also as collectible design items and ideal gifts for supporters of the festival. Fans were additionally encouraged to combine ticket orders with merchandise from various Obscene-related stores, including T-shirts, LPs and CDs.
The announcement also confirmed key details for Obscene Extreme Festival 2026 itself: four days, one stage, freak shows, underground extremity and total chaos between July 1 and July 5, 2026, once again at the legendary Battlefield in Trutnov, Czech Republic.
That same day also brought the return of one of the festival’s most bizarre and beloved cult acts: Czech obscenity legends ISACAARUM. Many fans originally believed the band would never return after their breakup in 2014, but since reuniting in 2018 the group has once again fully embraced its twisted vision of so-called “sperm metal”.
Fronted by the eccentric Chymus, ISACAARUM combines machine-gun drumming, infectious riffs and insane multi-register vocal madness into one grotesque but unforgettable spectacle. Their comeback album “Impregnation” proved that the band lost none of its absurd creativity or underground identity during the hiatus.
November 12 then introduced British grindcore wrecking machine THE ATROCITY EXHIBIT. Hailing from Northampton, the band has spent two decades perfecting an especially savage form of grindcore combining crushing brutality with rock’n’roll swagger that would supposedly even make Lemmy smile.
According to the organisers, THE ATROCITY EXHIBIT possesses a special ability to instantly activate the OEF moshpit through their combination of grind, punk and rock energy. Their debut appearance at the Battlefield is therefore expected to become one of the most explosive grindcore parties of the weekend.
French brutality arrived on November 13 with EMBRACE YOUR PUNISHMENT, a modern extreme metal quartet combining devastating groove, technical violence and moshpit-oriented aggression. The organisers compared their style to bands such as Pyrexia, Dying Fetus and Misery Index while emphasising their complete disregard for trends or expectations.
Their music was described as explosive, destructive and tailor-made for violent crowd reactions — regardless of whether audiences already know the band beforehand. One thing seems certain: their Battlefield appearance will not be subtle.
The final announcement in this wave came on November 14 with Danish powerviolence destroyers DECORTICATE. Calling themselves the “K-Town Powerviolence Mafia”, the Copenhagen trio has rapidly built a reputation for chaotic, feral and brutally fast performances inspired by acts such as Infest, Capitalist Casualties and Better Than A Thousand.
Driven by dual vocal assaults, overwhelming blastbeats and nonstop aggression, DECORTICATE represents exactly the kind of raw DIY extremity that perfectly fits the Obscene philosophy. According to the organisers, the band does not reinvent the wheel — they simply crush it beneath them and keep moving at full speed.
With names such as ROTTEN SOUND, HIDEOUS DIVINITY, ISACAARUM, THE ATROCITY EXHIBIT, DECORTICATE and AMPUTATED GENITALS now joining the line-up, Obscene Extreme Festival 2026 continues evolving into a truly worldwide celebration of grindcore, death metal, punk, noise and underground extremity without boundaries.
