Tau Cross es lo que a día de hoy podemos denominar como “supergrupo”, y no me refiero a un grupo formado por personas muy conocidas y “famosas”, sino todo lo contrario. Músicos que han demostrado su valía durante años en bandas de renombre que se han ganado su espacio en lo más alto por méritos propios y demostrándolo día a día tanto en el estudio como en directo.
En este caso la banda está formada por Rob (The baron) Miller a las cuatro cuerdas y voces que conoceréis por ser el vocalista y bajo de Amebix. Michael Langevin como batería, que compartirá su tiempo entre Tau Cross y Voivod. Andy Lefton, guitarra que encontramos a su vez en War//Plague y el cuarto miembro también machacando las 6 cuerdas es Jon Misery que además de la citada banda es el frontman de Misery.
Una vez conocéis de dónde llega cada uno de sus integrantes queda claro la infinidad de influencias que vamos a encontrar en el primer lanzamiento de este cuarteto que además se encuentran bastante lejos el uno del otro; 2 integrantes estadounidenses, otro canadiense y un inglés. La diversidad de géneros que encontraremos en el LP va desde punk crust, rock alternativo, heavy metal, toques más oscuros y profundos... Y una voz que ya conocéis todos los seguidores de Amebix; que le da ese toque sucio y rockero/punkarra muy rollo Old School.
11 temas que fusionan los estilos anteriormente citados de un modo magistral.
Comenzamos con “Lazarus”, con un toque muy punk y atmosférico a su vez. Es uno de los mejores temas del álbum, y nos resume lo que vamos a escuchar a continuación en cuanto al estilo se refiere.
Otro temazo por venir; “Fire in The Sky”, con toques más vivos, toques sinfónicos como intro y para darle algún matiz al tema. Seguimos en la misma línea pero un poco más tirando a metal.
Los 3 temas que encontramos después son el desarrollo de esa intro que eran los 2 primeros, y nos vuelven brindar 2 cortes alucinantes. Primero un medio tiempo de los más solemne y que podía encajar a la perfección en la banda sonora de una película de vaqueros “We Control The Fear”. Y con la siguiente “You People” volvemos a la caña, rollo muy metalero y riffs pegadizos, melodía... Otra vez el patrón de 2 temas estrella para captar toda nuestra atención y seguir con 5 temas más para cerrar un alucinante primer lanzamiento. Por ejemplo el siguiente, “Prision” es todo un himno punk ochentero.
Y seguir en la misma línea con los 4 cortes finales. Alucinante cómo mezclan el rollo punk rock old school con temas como “Sons of the soul” con un rollo Neurosis muy atmosférico y una voz limpia, y que suene todo tan bien fusionado.
“The Lie” y “Our Day” continúan para dar paso a un cierro de lo más emotivo, otro medio tiempo profundo que te hará cerrar los ojos y sentir toda la esencia de la banda: “The Devil Knows His Own”.
Una producción perfecta tanto a nivel acústico como para las partes más heavies.
tras escuchar el álbum al completo solo nos queda decir que no vas a encontrar mucha complejidad en el , más bien todo lo contrario. Un trabajo cargado de simplicidad que hace que sea aún mejor por la calidad que destila al usar todas las influencias de cada músico; desarrollarlas y ejecutarlas de un modo perfecto.
Para seguidores de bandas como: Amebix, Voivod, Killing Joke, Motorhead, Neurosis, GBH, Discharge, Doom debiera escuchar.
Y la discográfica que publica esta joya es nada más y nada menos que Relapse Records, siempre apoyando al metal más underground y consolidado así como a nuevas bandas emergentes!

Nos alegra poder anunciar el cartel final del Resurrection Fest 2015, con reparto por días y escenarios de bandas incluido. Hemos de destacar las últimas bandas que cierran la programación principal: por un lado, una de las mayores leyendas de la historia del metal, Max Cavalera, vendrá con Soulfly a repartir caña con su groove metal y a recordar grandes clásicos gracias a un setlist especial formado por canciones de Soulfly y Sepultura para que no falten himnos como "Refuse/Resist" o "Roots Bloody Roots". Por otro lado, los belgas Oathbreaker también estarán en el festival con su peculiar blackened hardcore tras su cancelación en 2011. Finalmente debemos anunciar la cancelación unilateral de Chelsea Grin, los cuales serán sustituidos por los franceses Betraying The Martyrs, quienes vendrán desde París con su potente deathcore.
Las nuevas incorporaciones no finalizan ahí, ya que tendremos tres bandas tributo este año cerrando la fiesta: Abaixo Cu Sistema (tributo a System of a Down), Defclones (tributo a Deftones) y The Everlongs (tributo a Foo Fighters).
También nos complace añadir oficialmente a los tres ganadores de nuestro Band Contest Estrella Galicia 2015 tras la batalla de bandas del pasado 16 de mayo: Brothers Till We Die, Borderlands y Blaze Out.

British Death Metal mongers DECREPID have finished their sophomore album and it's ready to be unleashed upon mankind!! Title for this monstrous work is "Osseous Empire" and it was originally intended for a 2014 release, but line up changes forced the band to delay their plans until 2015.
Formed back in 2005, and specially since the release of the band's debut album "Devoted to Death" in 2011, which was very well received by the scene, DECREPID have been forging a reputation by themselves as one of UK's most pure and uncompromising Death Metal acts with a sound that's brutal yet old school sounding with songs full of killer and crushing riffs. Definitely not for modern trendy core-boys.

Anthropocene, a proposed term for the present geological epoch (from the time of the Industrial Revolution onwards), during which humanity has begun to have a significant impact on the environment.
In 2012, CATTLE DECAPITATION shocked the metal world with what was revered by fans and haters alike as their best album to date, "Monolith Of Inhumanity". Here we are, three years later, CATTLE DECAPITATION and Metal Blade Records are pleased to unveil to the world the band's magnum opus with "The Anthropocene Extinction", set for world wide release August 7th, 2015.
Reenlisting "Monolith Of Inhumanity" producer Dave Otero (Allegaeon, Cephalic Carnage), CATTLE DECAPITATION returned to Flatline Audio in Denver, Colorado, eager to revisit the close collaboration that helped bring that record to life. "Dave is a bonafide producer," elaborates vocalist Travis Ryan. "He's got a lot of great ideas and this time we heard him out pretty religiously because making Monolith… had worked out so well. We've always kind of co-produced our records with whoever we brought in, but these last two we did a lot more listening to what he had to say rather than just sticking with what we were saying. Sometimes we shot down his ideas and vice versa, but that discussion was always beneficial. He basically becomes the fifth member of the band at that point, and I think that kind of relationship is the best way to get anything out of anybody."
CATTLE DECAPITATION also enlisted a surprising array of guests to help achieve their vision. The one and only legendary PHILIP H. ANSELMO lends his throat to "The Prophets Of Loss" while recent signee to his Housecore Records label, fellow San Diegan and friend of the band, AUTHOR & PUNISHER, brings forth the industrial damnation as an intro to the track "Plagueborne." Additionally, Germany's dark metal misanthrope, MR. JURGEN BARTSCH of the almighty BETHLEHEM, lends a spoken word piece in his native tongue to the apocalyptic final track "Pacific Grim." Your body simply is not ready.
The record also sees the band extending their collaboration with illustrator Wes Benscoter, who's handled the artwork for every CATTLE DECAPITATION release since 2002's "To Serve Man". "When we work with Wes, he becomes a member of the band," says Ryan. As always, Benscoter formulated striking imagery that conveyed the record's themes in unflinching style, the cover featuring a bloated and distorted corpse washed up on a beach, its torn abdomen disgorging a mass of waste plastic.
Whereas "Monolith Of Inhumanity" dealt with what could become of the earth and its life forms had humans continued their present course, with "The Anthropocene Extinction" we have been transported forward to man's last gasps, reminiscent of what is currently going on with the Laysan Albatrosses on the island of Midway Atoll. The birds and aquatic wildlife of the Pacific Ocean are mistaking the vast amounts of man-made plastic items for food, ingesting it and are dying in large numbers, rotting where they fall and exposing to the world what is happening to the ecosystems of the earth's oceans - the most unknown and unexplored part of our planet. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch of the North Pacific Gyre is just part of the problem - there are five gyres on planet earth and they're all filling with plastic waste outnumbering the plankton vital for the ocean's ecosystems. The breakdown of the earth's ecosystems has begun long ago due to human interaction as well as the domino effect that will surely seal the fate for our species: "The Anthropocene Extinction"

Debut Album Out This Fall!
AUDIOTOPSY, the powerhouse new band featuring guitarist Greg Tribbett (Mudvayne, Hell Yeah), drummer Matt McDonough (Mudvayne), vocalist Billy Keeton (Skrape) and bassist Perry Stern have signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records. Their debut album is scheduled for release in the fall 2015.

I say surely yes...kids are welcome to OEF and they have free entrance to 12 years!!! My own kids have to go to OEF every year (small kids since their birth, Nat was on OEF for his first time when he was just 3 weeks old and Agata has 2 months and half only) and I just can acknowledge that they always enjoy their time on the festival and they are really happy go back again!!! The masks are an inseparable part of the Obscene Extreme festival and all of us love them for sure!!! Look at some of the first class masks various lunatics brought with them for some of the previous volums. Try to think about your "image" for the new party which is soon to come....
The festival parking lot is situated as near as possible to the fest venue of “Battlefield”. It is directly connected to the fest venue. The venue and the center of the event, the stage, is near to your car or tent!!! The parking fee is 200,- CZK a car (500,- CZK over 3,5 t) for the whole duration of the festival…. You may ask yourselves why to pay for a parking lot. The reason is the hire of another venue next to the fest venue costs additional (considerable) money. We also pay OEF crew who help with parking organisation and we will be glad if you help us financially. Both the parking lot and the camp will be opened on Wednesday 8th at 10:00 to Sunday 12th until 12:00!!! It is not possible to leave and arrive to the parking lot repeatedly. You come, pay the parking fee, OEF crew help you to find a free place, stop, apply the handbrake and leave only after the fest is over on Sunday.
Parking close to your tent, no on road and also no parking at front of the gate to houses of Trutnov's natives. Please, be fine and take care of good name of OBSCENE EXTREME and your own good name too!!!

We adore that feeling when you are having lots of fun!!! But some rules are to be defined. For stage diving is determined first one meter (1.10 yd) of the stage. Do not stay here longer than 5 seconds or hang over among members of the playing bands or behind the monitors!!! This year will help you on the stage like OEFcrew our friends from INGROWING, ISACAARUM or MALIGNANT TUMOUR so please respect them, don’t forget that these guys are playing our festival very often too and they know perfectly where you can go and where no!!!
The Voucher system has been running successfully since 5 years now without any problems!!! The Voucher system is very much alike to booking flying tickets through the internet. When ordering tickets add into the comments in the order: Please issue a voucher. Once the tickets are paid by Paypal we will create a voucher with your name, address, number of tickets and information about the fest you will submit at the gate (on the first day of OEF 2015 a special gate for advance sales and vouchers will be opened to facilitate the entrance of the festival lunatics) together with your ID card. You will sign the receipt and get the ordered number of tickets.

Since first year we have just vegan and vegetarian food on OEF and we'll continue in this blood free tradition forever. Do you ask why? I'm long-time vegan myself and this life style is something very important for me and I really can't support the bloody business even on festival that I organize...animals can't thank you but I can can and I do : thanx to all people that support this idea and will be vegans and vegetarians even for this one weekend, enjoy our food and support animal rights...

It is clear you are going to spend 3-4 days at the fest so be ready for everything. We advise you better to be ready with a kit-bag for both the sunny and the rainy variant plus you can take ID card, health insurance card (especially stage divers!!! This is really important!!! Also travel insurance is good thing!), see example : European Health Insurance Card
, hygienic stuff, rain coat (perfect idea!!! we will sell raincoats in grind market as well!), WC paper, sun glasses, sun lotion, tent, sleeping bag. Leave all expensive belongings as expensive cameras, video-cameras, jewellery etc. in home!!!
